Garage Days Re-Revisited is an extended play by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on August 21, 1987. The EP consists entirely of covers of late '70s and early '80s new wave of British heavy metal bands and hardcore punk music. It was the first recording to feature bassist Jason Newsted and was recorded in Lars Ulrich's soundproofed garage over six days. The EP includes tracks like "Helpless" by Diamond Head and "Last Caress/Green Hell" by Misfits, showcasing Metallica's raw and energetic sound.
